Tobacco Tour

At the indicated time we will meet in front of the Preuniversitario, on Adela Azcuy Street, to begin this interesting tobacco tour through Viñales where we will discover the secrets of one of the most typical products of Cuba.

First of all, we will undertake a guided tour of Viñales surrounded by the typical nature of the area. We will walk through the valley observing its plantations, and depending on the season, we will find crops of tobacco, coffee, corn, rice, beans or cassava. A great photo opportunity!

We will continue the path enjoying the lush landscapes of Viñales until we reach a farmer’s farm. There we will take a tour among the tobacco plantations. How is it grown? What is the process of making Cuban cigars? Why is it considered the best tobacco in the world?

In addition, we will visit the house where the tobacco is dried, we will see how the leaves are rolled and, of course, you will have the unique opportunity to smoke an authentic Cuban cigar. While we smoke, we will have a cup of coffee and, if you wish, you can buy some handmade cigars there to take with you as a souvenir.

One hour later, we will finish the tobacco tour of Viñales at the entrance of the farm.
