OVERVIEW :
Taking a sunset hike in the Valley of Silence is something difficult to erase from your memory. You’ll watch the sun set over the tobacco plantations, so get your camera ready!
ITINERARY :
We will meet in the Central Park of Viñales, right in front of the church and we will set off to begin our walking route from Viñales through the trails of one of the most beautiful regions in the northwest of Cuba.
We will enter the Valley of Silence, belonging to the Viñales National Park. Although the path may seem a little long in some of the stages, the impressive views will always reward us for the effort.
Throughout the tour, we will marvel at the extensive tobacco and coffee plantations, two of the most famous products in the area. In fact, we will make a stop at a local farm where we will learn about the process of tobacco, coffee and rum and where you can buy typical products (tobacco, coffee, honey, fruits, etc.).
Declared a Cultural Landscape of Humanity by UNESCO in 1999, the natural area through which we will walk is of karst origin, something that gives it a special charm. Thus, we will reach a viewpoint from which we can take some beautiful photos of the sunset over the valley.

• Starting November 1, 2024, departure will be at 2:30 p.m.

• Children under 16 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult.
• It is required to be in good physical shape to carry out this activity.
